Lately I've been taking a closer looking into my comic collection and started to dissect them, studying layouts, composition and the drawings themselves. For this study I wanted to get a closer look at the volume of this head and how it affects light and shadows. The original drawing is from the amazing comic series "Black Monday Murders" with the absolute mind blowing artwork of Tomm Coker.
