MEWTWO RISING
Besides of Motion Design I love to draw. The sweatest projects are the ones that combine those two passions. But even when client work doesn’t demand illustration work, I keep a constant drawing habit in order to improve my skill.
To keep me motivated I try to come up with different topics and studies.
For this specific illustration I challenged myself:
- Take a random screenshot of your Pinterest feed as visual reference
- Come up with some narrative that combines those references in one single illustration
- Draw at least 1h every day
The exercise was super helpful to improve my visual labrary and draw random objects from references, but most of all, to improve my storytelling within the illustration. Having a narrative helped immensely to make decisions on the composition and colouring.
