Back in 2017, while working at American Express Meetings & Events, we had the chance to create an incentive travel experience for Renault Truck’s top French performers, with the main event taking place in Lyon. Together with a media designer and a copywriter, we set out to build something that felt coherent, warm, and visually memorable.
My part in this was to art direct the project, but also to get hands-on with the illustration of the key visual, the motion design, and the editing of the teaser video. I then guided our media designer in shaping the collaterals, while the copywriter and I worked side by side on the presentation of the full event concept, covering the itinerary, hotels, activities, and location planed and organized by the travel team, as well as the presentation of our design work.
We ended up with a family of materials: Save the Date and winner announcements, luggage tags, itinerary brochures, branded clothing, and a short teaser video.
