Renault - Challenge 2017
My Role: Art Direction, Video Editing | Team: Media Designer, Copywriter
At American Express Meetings & Events, we had the opportunity to create an incentive travel experience for Renault's top French performers in 2017. These were luxury travels, the kind where every detail matters, and the participants expect nothing less than elegance and care. The travel team had designed an itinerary spanning five different destinations, each with its own character. Our job was to give each destination its own key visual while making sure the whole trip still felt like one coherent, sophisticated story.
That was the real puzzle. Too much variation and the experience would feel fragmented. Too little and the destinations would lose their individuality. And everything had to feel effortless, refined, and worthy of a luxury journey.
Together with a media designer and a copywriter, we approached it gently. I art-directed the project and handled the editing of the teaser video. The media designer brought the collaterals to life under my guidance, and the copywriter helped shape the overall concept presentation. The heart of the work was finding a sophisticated visual language – elegant, understated, timeless – that could host five different key visuals without ever feeling forced or inconsistent.
We ended up with a family of materials: Save the Date and winner announcements, luggage tags, itinerary brochures, branded clothing, and a short teaser video.
